Pittsburgh 2024 Fall Roundtable Recap

Our October 2024 Roundtable highlighted vibrant discussions among members and provided updates on our two transformative Strategic Opportunities, all while offering valuable educational content and enjoyable networking experiences. We heard firsthand how some of our members benefited from our revolutionary leadership training for post-acute leaders PALI, and how our prescription benefit savings Pharmacy Consortium is helping members save above and beyond their expectations.

The Kimpton Monaco Pittsburgh, with its central downtown location and beautiful rooftop terrace, allowed for some of the best views and access to explore the city. We started early Tuesday with a choice of two excursions: one via Molly’s Trolley, sponsored by Empyrean, to explore Pittsburgh’s rich history. Our tour consisted of a visit with Mr. Rogers, a ride on the Duquesne Incline, and enjoying an authentic Pittsburgh style sandwich at Primanti’s Bros (a Pittsburgh staple since 1933)! On our second excursion, another group of members headed out to the award-winning Quicksilver Golf Club with some keepsake golf balls featuring the Roundtable logo alongside the golf outing sponsor Imagine360.

Our traditional Tuesday evening Welcome Reception, sponsored by Alliant, complete with three hours of networking, was held on the rooftop terrace of the hotel with some beautiful views of the city along with a captivating sunset.  Members enjoyed catching up with one another while indulging in some delicious hors d’oeuvres.

We kicked off Wednesday morning with our guest speaker, Danielle Dewitt, the Senior Development Manager of our Pittsburgh Charity 412 Food Rescue. Together through the roundtable, members and vendors raised nearly $1,000 for this unique organization. Next, we heard from Dan Collard and member Amy Crosslin sharing the experience of the first PALI cohort held in July 2024. We enjoyed some open discussion lead by Mike Karicher and both discussions had a ton of engagement and idea sharing.
