March 2025 Roundtable Recap
The March 2025 Roundtable: A Mile-High Experience to Remember!
Our March 2025 Spring Roundtable was a dynamic gathering packed with energy, insight, and connection! Members engaged in lively, thought-provoking conversations and got the inside scoop on our two game-changing Strategic Opportunities. The event was a perfect blend of learning and networking, with vendor partner presentations that sparked ideas and connections resulting in great collaboration. We were thrilled to hear powerful stories from members who’ve experienced real impact—especially those with substantial savings through our Pharmacy Consortium.
It’s clear: innovation is happening, and our members are leading the way.
The Halcyon Hotel in Denver’s vibrant Cherry Creek district truly delivered! With its unbeatable downtown location, mouthwatering dishes at Quality Italian, and sweeping mountain views from the rooftop Rare Bird bar, it set the stage for a memorable few days of connection, learning, and fun.
We kicked things off Tuesday afternoon with a lively bowling bash at Lucky Strike, generously sponsored by imagine360. Between friendly competition, tasty bites, and craft drinks, members and vendors had a blast mixing, mingling, and cheering each other on. As the sun set, our traditional Tuesday evening Welcome Reception, sponsored by LucyRX, moved to the Halcyon rooftop. While a brisk wind rolled in, spirits stayed high thanks to the LucyRX signature cocktail and a delicious spread of hors d’oeuvres. Members reconnected, lounged, and dove into a few rounds of Jenga before heading off early for dinner as the snow began to gently fall.
Wednesday morning started strong with a heartfelt presentation from Andrea Alcala, Community Engagement Manager at Urban Peak. Her powerful message moved our members to raise over $600 for this inspiring organization. Attendees also received cozy, custom-embroidered Land’s End winter vests compliments of the Roundtable—just in time to brave the fresh Denver snowfall!
We covered HR challenges and benefits solutions throughout the Roundtable. New vendor solutions featured at this meeting were SchedulePop a smart AI scheduling solution to help fill open shifts and reduce Agency Spend. Then Roundtable member Diana Curran presented VitalLink a new program to help connect your employees to essential resources that address Social Determinants of Health.
We heard from return vendor partner Employees First as Amy Hollis and Jessica DePhillips shared more on voluntary benefits and captives. Member Kendra Nickel shared PALI gems from last year’s PALI Leadership training and Nick Porter delivered exciting updates on the Pharmacy Consortium showcasing real savings already in members’ pockets!
We wrapped up Wednesday on a high note by celebrating the amazing Dionne Motal and her well-earned retirement. Dionne has been a cornerstone of the Roundtable for nearly 30 years—her passion, dedication, and warmth have shaped so much of what makes this community special. The celebration was filled with love and laughter as we watched heartfelt video messages from members sharing favorite memories and well wishes, followed by a nostalgic (and fun!) slideshow of Dionne through the years. Tracy presented her with a beautiful Tiffany’s gift from the Roundtable—something to remind her just how much she means to all of us. It was the perfect sendoff for someone who’s truly one of a kind.
We continued the celebration as we wrapped up with a vibrant Happy Hour, sponsored by BenefitsMe giving members yet another chance to connect and collaborate.
This Roundtable welcomed exciting new exhibitors, including Vibratravels, with Jillian Petrunak and ‘Taylor Swift’ on hand to introduce their innovative staffing solution with some snazzy desk plants and Stanleys. VitalLink new on the scene had a fancy giveaway that one lucky member won and some beautiful Owala water bottles. Schedulepop kept with the Denver spirit providing members with a scarf to block out the chill! The exhibitor room was a hub of activity, featuring familiar favorites and valued partners. Erin, Tom, and Max from imagine360 returned to share an insightful update on the Evolution of RBP, while Kevin Scroggins and Holly Fogleman from USI presented their much-anticipated Benefits Benchmarking Survey on Thursday. Josh from PTO Exchange offered creative solutions for managing employee PTO accrual, and Reachel and Doug from BenefitsMe highlighted their employer-sponsored purchasing assistance program and made sure members were comfy on the trip home with plane pillows and travel blankets. Jess from Empyrean engaged with members on strategies to improve employee wellbeing, productivity, and retention through a more connected people experience. Rounding out the lineup, Rx Protect returned to showcase a smarter, more cost-effective way to pay for and deliver high-cost medications for self-insured employers.
On Thursday, we wrapped up with an open forum where members shared real-world challenges, swapped strategies, and explored fresh ideas together. Couldn’t join us—or just want to revisit the action?
